First, I think I should start with I have posted a lot about my beloved vintage soviet lenses, but this time was different: I was in deep dive into analog film photography with Zenit and Ilford pan 100. So, it was exiting! And I used Helios 44m-6.
About b&w Ilford pan 100 film

Actually, the film I used was Ilford pan, where 100 is ISO, the design of box is very minimalistic. As I understand, Ilford pan film has been produced in UK. And I really love that film, it works gorgeous to me.

So, then I set it up and went to walk with my Zenit. I can not say it was a real piece of cake, but it was not rocket sciense too. 10 of 36 photos were well, good enough for me. Only one thing was a shame. My Zenit has a techical problem with sharp area – the real sharpness is a little further than I can see it in camera.

Well, I consider this experiment was a good idea. I was really enjoying it. There is something tremendous about film photography.
