Well, actually I prefer to avoid flowers in my watercolor studies. The reason is that I am not good in this field at all.
And I am really afraid of failing.
So, those two beautiful pictures are not perfect, but I like them. The fact I DID it, I mean Watercolor flowers challenge, changes a lot in my feeling about my abilities and skills. I feel free and actually a little bit disappointed – as I beat a dragon, but it was not actually so difficult.
I have used my lovely standart 24-color White Nights warercolors as usual. And I think I have managed reds. But frankly speaking, maybe it is time to buy new red pigments.
