Well, The Handmaid’s Tale came to the end. And while the sequel to the project, The Testaments is still in production, you can watch other series similar to The Handmaid’s Tale.
And for those who haven’t finished watching it yet, don’t worry, there will be no spoilers.
By the way, The Handmaid’s Tale is a screen adaptation of a novel by Margaret Atwood, the author I adore. If you like reading, I without a hint of hesitation recommend the Booker Prize-winning novel Blind Assassin to you.
Crimson petal and white
A mind-blowing adaptation of Michel Faber’s scandalous work. And Gillian Anderson also starred here. If you liked “The Handmaid’s Tale” for its drama, suspense, and theme, this has it in abundance. And all this against the backdrop of Victorian England.
Which doesn’t fit at all, the heroine is quite educated and smart. What went wrong, and, most importantly, how will Sugar get out of her, frankly speaking, unenviable situation: all this can be found out in the Crimson Petal and the White.

Luminaries
This is a fairly recent adaptation of, again, a fairly new work by Eleanor Catton. The themes are the same: exploitation of women, the injustice of the social structure, unequal rights.
This time the events unfold in New Zealand during the “gold rush”. This series has it all: mysticism, love, betrayal, social agenda, and even astrology. And Eva Green plays a role here.
TV shows similar to The Handmaid’s Tale
In my opinion, these two projects – The Crimson Petal and the White and The Luminaries are most similar in theme and mood to the The Handmaid’s Tale. In any case, I hope you will enjoy.

What is the ART? Ink particles flow through water, creating unique patterns. As if under some kind of spell colours shift into other dimensions , changing, hiding and dissolving. It takes your breath away - Magical Inktober: Chrome sheen Ink
Hi. there! Well, a lot of people now are taking part in Inktober. And it is the right time to talk about Ink. It is about a quite interesting art supply – chrome sheen ink - Alien: Earth. Is it worth watching?
I can not say that I am a fan of Alien Worlds. But without any doubt, I declare I really like stories by Ridley Scott: from Blade Runner to Raised by Wolves.
